Project Coordinator / Procurement Guru

We are looking for a full time Project Coordinator/Procurement Guru to join our in-house design team based in central London.
This role lies at the heart of the studio and is essential to maintaining our first-class reputation and to the smooth running of our projects.
We are looking for a ‘mother hen’ who will take ownership of the studio, its day to day requirements and the delivery of its projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team and to hone your design and FF&E skills through project coordination and managing projects through to completion. Ultimately, the deliverable duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
The role will suit a process driven person who is confident in their ability to be a calling point for key information in the company.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone with an overriding passion for design, interiors and art – who is always on the lookout for new products, techniques and suppliers to ensure that we deliver the absolute best work for our clients
- Someone who can work alongside Samantha, taking responsibility and driving the process forwards
- A confident, trustworthy and charming person who is comfortable interacting with clients, suppliers and contractors
- Good project management and leadership skills, a confident troubleshooter capable of handling multiple projects at once
- Someone who shares a similar aesthetic, principles and ethos. The studio is intentionally small and intimate in its set up, and it will be essential that there is a good personality fit
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinating and managing projects from initial stages through design presentations, invoicing, procurement all the way to client delivery/installation
- Creating FF&E specifications for all schemes alongside Samantha and the rest of the team
- The role will also include contributing to the design process across all projects so interior design knowledge/interest is essential
- Working on luxury projects ensuring they are kept to budget and schedule
- Organising technical documentation
- Overseeing purchasing and logistics
- Overseeing all Warborough Collection orders
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, craftsmen and clients
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 2-5 years professional relevant experience in FF&E, design and coordination
- Accomplished working in Estimac is ESSENTIAL
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a rigorous dedicated approach to work
- Excellent communication and presentation in both verbal and written fields
- Be able to work at a fast pace individually and as part of a team
- Experience of working on various project scales
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Gmail and Dropbox systems
- Have a relevant architectural, interior or product design qualification
- Experience in CAD, Vector-works and photoshop is preferable
